AWRA is the home page of the American WOMP Racing Association. The AWRA is a sanctioning body for WOMP slot car competition. Our goal is to set up a standardized set of rules that will be adopted nationwide to govern WOMP racing in the United States.

The AWRA North South Series was at the Race Center in Monroe NC for Round #2 and just like round #1 the broom 🧹 came out. Charles Eldridge captured TQ and the race win in all three classes! The day started with DLM on the Oval. Mike Lefler and Charles fought hard as the lanes progressed with Charles holding on for the win. JJ rounded out the podium. In Legends/Sportsman Reggie Huss was the surprise leader on the King in the early lanes but couldn't hold off the charging Charles and Mike who finished first and second. Legacy was the last class on the challenging Flat Track. Charles was out in the lead as JJ and Bill fought to stay in contention but couldn't pull him back. JJ and Bill finished on the same lap in 2nd and 3rd. Round three moves to South Carolina at the Slot Car Cave for round #3 in June.

The AWRA North South Series visited The Track last Saturday for round #1 of the four race series. Rick Lail brought his broom and won all three classes and two polls! 🧹 Only Mike Lefler was able to hold him off for the TQ in Legends. The competition was on for the remaining spots on the podium in each class with Charles Eldridge, Mike Lefler, Bill Davis, and Jeremiah Weston getting podium points. Round #2 is at the Race Center in Monroe.
