🩵 August Neighbor Project 🩵

This month, the Ellis Club focused on helping members of the homeless community right here in Jones County.

Our members packed and delivered 60 care bags to the Ellisville Police Department and City of Laurel Mississippi Police Department for officers to hand out as needs arise in our community. Each bag was packed with hygiene items, snacks, everyday essentials and a few extra items to offer comfort and encouragement.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to give our local officers another resource to help someone who may need a little extra care and kindness. 🤍

A big thank you to Alex and Mrs. Congetta with Open Eyes for joining us at our Ellis Club meeting Monday evening and sharing more about the heart behind their organization! 💙

Open Eyes is an application-based nonprofit created to help individuals and families facing a crisis or simply experiencing a need within the community.

We’re so thankful for organizations like Open Eyes that are stepping in, meeting needs and making a difference right here in our community. Thank you both for taking the time to share with us!
