Foster Grandparent Progam The Foster Grandparent Program of the Pine Belt began in 1972, through AmeriCorps Seniors.

All Foster Grandparents of the Pine Belt will have the day off Tuesday December 17th to attend the Senior Christmas Dinner at the Laurel Cameron Center. It starts at 11:00AM This special event is sponsored by Senator Jaun Barnett and Mayor Johnny Magee. If you choose not to attend you can go to your volunteer station as usual, however You must attend the dinner to get the day off. FGP staff will be there with sign in sheets. On Friday, May 10th, 2024, a few of our Foster Grandparents loaded up and went on an outing to the Gulf Coast Aquarium and had a delicious dinner at Golden Corral. We really appreciate all the hard work our Foster Grandparents put in daily, it doesn’t go unnoticed!! Thank you!!
