Thank you, Golden Belt Bank! We appreciate your community support!

Through funds raised by our employees through our Casual Friday for a Cause initiative, along with a bank match, we were proud to support the Friends of the Ellis Library — an organization dedicated to building and sustaining community support for the Ellis Public Library through fundraising and advocacy.

We’re honored to support their mission as they continue enhancing library services, programs, and resources for the community — especially during the library’s recent renovations and technology updates.

We hope these contributions help the organization continue making a meaningful difference for the library and everyone it serves.

Thank you to the Community Foundation of Ellis and Midwest Energy for the grant funding to purchase our new Smart Board. We are excited to bring a variety of fun, interactive activities and learning opportunities to the library for children, families, and visitors of all ages.

Yesterday after school, EPL hosted Trivia for our 3rd–6th graders! Even though summer had officially started, these kids were still completely locked in and ready to compete. With close to 20 participants, there was a lot of brain power in one room! 🧠✨

We also got to put our NEW Smart Board to use which was generously purchased by the Friends of the Ellis Library ! It made trivia even more interactive and fun. Thank you to the Friends group for helping bring exciting new opportunities to EPL!

The Friends of the Ellis Library have a brand NEW book sale shelf and it’s full of great reads just waiting for a second home! Browse the selection and snag a deal! Books are just $1 each, or fill a whole bag for only $3!

Every book has been loved and is ready to be enjoyed again. Have books you’re ready to pass along? Donations are always welcome and every purchase helps support Friends of the Library projects!

More shirts are available at the Ellis Public Library. Be a "Friend"- Wear our shirt! Shirts are $12 (size S-Xlg) $14 (XX-Lg or ###lg).

If you haven't renewed your membership or joined Friends of the Library there is still time. Dues are $5 for individuals and $15 for families. Lifetime memberships are also available for $200.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for Trivia Night at the EPL in support of the Friends of the Library!
It was an evening full of laughter, learning, friendly competition, and just the right amount of challenge. From a great variety of questions to triumphant answers, every team brought great energy and enthusiasm.
We’re so grateful for your support in making this fundraiser such a success. Events like this truly show the power of community—thank you for being a part of it! 📚✨
