Make the news (in a good way)! Tuesday the KSN road tour stops in Ellis and the Chamber is giving away free small snocones. Downtown Ellis 4:15-6:15. After that we will be at the ball games at Creekside.

VFW Aux. sets July 5 event

The VFW Auxiliary is sponsoring a Community Potluck to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.
The event will be held Sunday, July 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This event will take place at Creekside Park (the swimming pool park) near the new Community shelter area.
The VFW Auxiliary is seeking volunteers to help with the event, providing a great opportunity for students to earn community service hours over the summer.
In addition to the potluck picnic, the VFW Auxiliary will offer games, face painting, and other activities.
They are looking for volunteers to run these games and booths throughout the event.
