Thank You, Regina Stewart Graham 🤍🎺
As we say farewell to our founder and director, Regina, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the last two years she has dedicated to Mariachi Lindo Tejas.
What started as a small group of members grew into a thriving community mariachi program because of her vision, dedication, and belief in the importance of preserving culture through music. Through her leadership, youth, young adults, and adults across Ellis County and South Dallas found a place to learn, perform, connect with their heritage, and build lasting friendships.
Because of Regina, our members have had the opportunity to perform at the State Fair of Texas, Downtown Waxahachie, community celebrations, and events across DFW. But her impact reaches far beyond the performances. She helped create a space where people could grow in confidence, take pride in their roots, and feel a sense of belonging.
We also want to thank our parents, families, volunteers, and supporters. Your dedication, encouragement, and willingness to show up week after week have helped make this program what it is today. Because of this incredible community, we know Mariachi Lindo Tejas will continue to grow and thrive in Regina's absence.
While we will miss her, we are grateful for the foundation she built and the lives she touched along the way.
Thank you, Regina, for believing in this program, this community, and the power of mariachi. We wish you nothing but happiness, success, and blessings in your next chapter. Your impact will be felt for years to come. 🤍🎶
