💙💛 Member Spotlight:Kelsina Emery 💛💙

This week, we’re proud to introduce Kelsina Emery, a dedicated member of the Reynolds County Rotary Club for the past 7 years and a representative of Shelter Insurance where she helps individuals with all their insurnace needs!

Kelsina joined Rotary because she wanted to be involved in an organization that truly makes a difference right here at home. She believes that when people come together with a shared purpose, amazing things can happen—and that’s exactly what she has found through Rotary.

What she loves most about being a Rotarian is watching good intentions turn into meaningful action. Whether it’s supporting local families, helping with community projects, or lending a hand wherever it’s needed, Rotary brings together people who genuinely care about making Reynolds County a stronger, better place for everyone.

Outside of Rotary, Kelsina enjoys spending time with her family and making memories at the river. In fact, she says she’s happiest creating those special moments with the people she loves—whether it’s a big vacation or simply enjoying an ordinary Tuesday together. It’s those little moments that often mean the most.

Members like Kelsina remind us that community isn’t just about where we live—it’s about showing up, serving others, and making a positive impact together. Her kindness, dedication, and willingness to give back embody the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self.”

This years Craft Fair is right around the corner, spots are filling up fast. We have 20+ vendors this year. They will be selling everything from mum's, fall flowers, macrame items, bracelets, keychains, custom blankets, kombucha, custom cups, T-Shirts, homemade fishing jigs, tallow, homemade jellies, homemade bread, paintings, 3D printing, hat bar and and we will have Jeffrey Jones their signing autographs for kids and so much more. And of course we can't forget the food. Our Rotary members are gearing up for another terrific barbecue, we can't wait to spend the day with you. Reach out if you would like to have a vendors booth and be part of this special event.

Reynolds County Rotary Club’s Annual Fall Event is coming!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 31st, 2026 and come spend the day with us in Ellington! 🍂

We’ve got a little something for everyone:

🛍️ Craft Fair — 8 AM–3 PM
🎃 Kids’ Costume Contest & Parade — Parade starts at 10 AM
👻 Costume contest open to kids birth–16 years old
🏆 Cash prizes for Most Creative, Cutest & Spookiest!
🎟️ Raffle
🔨 Annual Fall Auction
🍖 BBQ
🎉 And plenty of small-town fun!

📍 Pavilion on Main Street — Ellington, MO 63638

The kids’ parade line-up begins at 9 AM at the Ellington Ballpark, with the parade kicking off promptly at 10 AM.

Come out, dress up, shop local, grab some BBQ, bid on some great auction items, and enjoy a fun day with your friends, family and neighbors! ❤️

And remember — all proceeds support Reynolds County Rotary’s community projects and efforts to help our local communities.

A BIG thank-you to Modern Woodmen of America Chapter 13758 for providing a matching Grant! All proceeds will be matched by Modern Woodmen up to $2,500! 🙌

We’re looking for a few good people to join the Reynolds County Rotary Club! 🙌

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to help out, but I just don’t know where to start,” Rotary might be the perfect place for you!

We’re a group of local folks who believe in serving our community, helping where we can, and having a little fun along the way. From community projects and local events to helping those in need, we’re always looking for ways to make Reynolds County a better place. ❤️

💙 Member Spotlight: Roberta Cook 💙

This week we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Roberta Cook!

For the past five years, Roberta has been a valued member of the Reynolds County Rotary Club. She joined Rotary with one simple goal—to help our local communities—and she has done just that through her willingness to volunteer and serve wherever she’s needed. She also represents Opy’s where you will always be meet with her energy and kindness!

What Roberta loves most about Rotary is being part of a great group of people working together to make a difference. She knows that when people come together with a shared purpose, even small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact on our community.

One of her favorite Rotary traditions is the Fall Parade, a time when neighbors come together to celebrate our community and create lasting memories. Whether she’s lending a helping hand behind the scenes or participating in community events, Roberta is always ready to pitch in.

Outside of Rotary, one thing that perfectly describes Roberta is her love for volunteering and helping others whenever she can. Her servant’s heart and positive attitude make her an invaluable part of our club and a wonderful example of what Rotary is all about.

Volunteers like Roberta are the heart of Reynolds County Rotary. Because of members who generously give their time and talents, we’re able to support local schools, organizations, families, and community projects that make Reynolds County a better place to live.

🌟 Rotary Member Spotlight: Josh Feeler 🌟

This week we’re excited to recognize Josh Feeler, who has been a member of the Reynolds County Rotary Club for 3 years and proudly represents Logan Valley Christian Retreat where you can find him preparing for the next campers or taking care of the animals!

Josh joined Rotary with one simple goal—to make a difference in our community by serving others and meeting local needs. One of his favorite parts of being a Rotarian is helping with our Christmas Present Program, making sure children in Reynolds County have a special Christmas to remember.

Outside of Rotary, Josh enjoys raising sheep and goats on the family farm.

Here’s a fun fact about Josh: As a teenager, he spent one month in Budapest, Hungary, serving as a summer missionary.

Thank you, Josh, for your servant’s heart and your commitment to making Reynolds County a better place. We are grateful for everything you do and are proud to have you as part of the Reynolds County Rotary family! 💙
