Talk about DIVINE appointments! Jerry met Leslie Baker & her niece while set up in Poplar Bluff. They shared testimonies, prayed & encouraged each other. She also blessed us with a financial donation that was needed for serving in Bloomfield that night. Then we had 2 flat tires on the way back from Bloomfield. The fact that we had flats at that very moment, in that very place was divine because we were then blessed by Christopher Rauscher who bought us not 2 but 4 brand new, & BETTER suited tires...had we had those flats anywhere else we would not have had the same result! Fast forward a couple of months to a last minute, "random" decision to serve at 21 Drive In on a Saturday night after serving in Piedmont...guess whose there? LESLIE!!! Jerry introduces us and she proceeds to talk about us serving at this event...coincidence?Nope...DIVINE! We don't know what is going to happen today, but we KNOW we are supposed to be there...
This really is only one story of many like this...our driving bible verse, II Corinthians 1:3-4, in action time & time again! We were not made to be comfortable but able to comfort!!!
