Time to Vote Eagles!!

Evy Armstead, Centennial, girls lacrosse
She began the week with 11 saves in a regional final win over Howard and built on that effort with seven saves against C. Milton Wright in the state quarterfinals. The sophomore finished off a strong stretch with 10 more saves in an 11-4 win over Stephen Decatur in the state semifinals, helping the Eagles clinch a trip to the state final for the first time in program history. In four playoff games, she has 36 saves and a 73% save percentage.

Ariela Dumesh, Centennial, girls tennis
Dumesh cruised to the Class 3A West girls singles championship. The top overall seed, Dumesh, earned a first-round bye and didn’t drop a game in her three matches after that. She earned the No. 2 seed in the state tournament.
