Scouting takes work but it's very rewarding work for both youth and adults. It can be A LOT of fun too. There are lots of clubs and outlets for youth but nothing like this. When teenagers say they are too old to join, I tell them about these kinds of adventures (that was one GIANT trip) or how successful other youth their age are at many things they didn't realize at first. Or... watch parents notice how these "kids" can do things most don't know how. It's an amazing program. Jump in on a cub pack or troop or crew. It's worth it.
