🎬 Oscar Night у таборі! 🏆✨

Вчора наш Голлівуд ожив по-справжньому! Червоний килим, яскраві спалахи paparazzi, святкові образи, танці та море усмішок створили атмосферу справжньої церемонії вручення «Оскарів». ⭐️📸

Протягом вечора були відзначені наші таборові таланти у різноманітних номінаціях:
🏆 Найкращий впорядник;
🏆 За найкращу організацію;
🏆 За дотепність;
🏆 За майстерність;
🏆 За акторські здібності;
🏆 За написаннянайкращих слів до сценки;
🏆 Найкращий співак табору.

Кожен лауреат заслужив свої гучні оплески, адже саме завдяки таким людям наш табір стає особливим, веселим і незабутнім. ❤️

А після урочистої церемонії розпочалася справжня Oscar Party — запальні танці, святкова атмосфера, море сміху та незабутні спогади

Yesterday, our very own Hollywood really came to life! The red carpet, the paparazzi’s bright flashes, festive outfits, dancing, and lots of smiles created the atmosphere of a real Oscars ceremony. ⭐️📸

Throughout the evening, our camp talents were recognized in various categories:
🏆 Best Organizer;
🏆 Best Organization;
🏆 For Wit;
🏆 For Skill;
🏆 For Acting Talent;
🏆 For Writing the Best Lines for a Skit;
🏆 Best Singer of the Camp.

Each winner deserved their thunderous applause, because it is thanks to people like them that our camp becomes special, fun, and unforgettable. ❤️

And after the awards ceremony, a real Oscar Party began—energetic dancing, a festive atmosphere, lots of laughter, and unforgettable memories.

В Елленвіллі ми розгорнули справжню Hollywood Red Carpet, де урочисто зустрічали легендарну Квітку Цісик — українсько-американську співачку, чий неповторний голос підкорив серця мільйонів.

Разом із подругою Мар’яною таборовики відкривали для себе цікаві факти про Америку: вирушили на захопливе Scavenger Hunt, а також перевірили свої знання у веселій вікторині.

In Ellenville, we rolled out a real Hollywood Red Carpet, where we gave a grand welcome to the legendary Kvitka Tsisyk—a Ukrainian-American singer whose unique voice has won the hearts of millions.

Together with their friend Mariana, the campers discovered interesting facts about America: they went on an exciting scavenger hunt and tested their knowledge in a fun quiz.

Учора наш таборовий літак приземлився у Франції! Разом із головною виховницею подругою Мар’яною Лейн ми відкривали для себе історію, традиції та цікаві факти про цю країну, граючи у веселу гру «Що б ви обрали?».

На сніданок смакували справжні французькі круасани 🥐, впорядники поставили цікаву сценку «Анна Київська — королева Франції,» та таборовики навіть майстрували власні ліхтарики!🕯️✨🇫🇷

Yesterday, our camp plane landed in France! Together with our head counselor, Mariana Lane, we explored the history, traditions, and interesting facts about this country while playing a fun game called “What Would You Choose?”

For breakfast, we enjoyed authentic French croissants 🥐, the organizers put on an interesting skit called “Anna of Kyiv—Queen of France,” and the campers even made their own lanterns!🕯️✨🇫🇷

✈️🇬🇧 Гартуйсь! Вчора наш таборовий літак приземлився у Великій Британії!

Протягом дня таборовики мандрували Англією, Шотландією, Уельсом і Північною Ірландією, проходячи цікаві станції квесту.

👑 Майстрували корони, 🎡 випробовували рівновагу на «Лондонському Оці», 🗺️ знайомилися з мапою Великої Британії та прапором Юніон Джек.

☕ А завершили нашу подорож справжнім англійським чаюванням із чаєм і традиційними канапками з огірком.

Ще один день веселих пригод і нових відкриттів у таборі «Сумівці по світу»! 💙

✈️🇬🇧 Get ready! Yesterday, our camp plane landed in the United Kingdom!

Throughout the day, the campers traveled through England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, completing fun quest stations along the way.

👑 They made crowns, 🎡 tested their balance on the “London Eye,” 🗺️ explored a map of Great Britain, and learned about the Union Jack.

☕ And we wrapped up our journey with a real English tea party featuring tea and traditional cucumber sandwiches.

Another day of fun adventures and new discoveries at the “Sumivtsi Around the World” camp! 💙

✈️ Гартуйсь! Наш таборовий літак приземлився в Канаді! 🇨🇦

Ще один день нашої великої мандрівки «Сумівці по світу» привів нас до гостинної Канади!

Зранку таборовики смакували справжні канадські млинці з кленовим сиропом 🍁, а потім вирушили знайомитися з країною кленового листка.

На творчих заняттях майстрували кленові листочки, а між мандрівками встигли й активно порухатися під час веселих спортових ігор.

Особливим моментом дня стала гутірка «Прощення» та благословення від духівника табору о. Івана Кащака. Ми роздумували над словами Ісуса Христа: «Прощення — то є свобода».

🌧️ Хоч по полудні дощик намагався зіпсувати погоду, нашого настрою він не змінив! Танцювали, вчилися сумівського впоряду, бавилися в ігри та ще раз переконалися: у таборі сонце світить навіть у похмурий день! ☀️💙💛

✈️ Get ready! Our camp plane has landed in Canada! 🇨🇦

Another day of our great journey, “Cymivtsi Around the World,” has brought us to hospitable Canada!

In the morning, the campers enjoyed authentic Canadian pancakes with maple syrup 🍁, and then set out to explore the land of the maple leaf.

During arts and crafts sessions, they made maple leaves, and between excursions, they managed to get some exercise during fun sports games.

A special moment of the day was the talk on “Forgiveness” and the blessing from the camp’s spiritual director, Fr. Ivan Kashchak. We reflected on the words of Jesus Christ: “Forgiveness is freedom.”

🌧️ Although a light rain tried to spoil the weather in the afternoon, it didn’t dampen our spirits! We danced, learned the Sumy formation, played games, and were convinced once again: at camp, the sun shines even on a cloudy day! ☀️💙💛

🌍🇧🇪 СУМівці по світу — Бельгія!

Вчора наше юнацтво вирушило у захопливу мандрівку до Бельгії разом із подругою Оксаною Литвин, проходячи цікаві станції квесту. 🇧🇪

Юнаки та юначки відкрили для себе багато несподіваних фактів про цю країну. Дізналися, що Бельгія — це не лише країна знаменитого шоколаду 🍫, а й батьківщина саксофона 🎷, картоплі фрі 🍟 та всесвітньо відомих Смурфів, історії про яких створюють уже майже 70 років.

Особливо цікаво було почути про Франкополе — унікальне українське село, засноване понад 60 років тому, яке стало справжньою «маленькою Україною» в самому серці Європи. 💙💛

А після мандрівки настав час запеклої боротьби у Змаганні кольорів! 🏆

🔴 І місце — червоний рій (юначки 1-ї кімнати та юнаки 8-ї кімнати);
🟡 ІІ місце — жовтий рій;
🟢 ІІІ місце — зелений рій.

Вітаємо переможців та дякуємо за командний дух і чудовий настрій! 💙💛

🌍🇧🇪 CYM Members Around the World — Belgium!

Yesterday, our youth set off on an exciting journey to Belgium together with their friend Oksana Lytvyn, completing interesting quest stations along the way. 🇧🇪

The young men and women discovered many surprising facts about this country. They learned that Belgium isn’t just the land of famous chocolate 🍫, but also the birthplace of the saxophone 🎷, French fries 🍟, and the world-famous Smurfs, whose stories have been told for nearly 70 years.

It was especially interesting to hear about Frankopole—a unique Ukrainian village founded over 60 years ago, which has become a true “little Ukraine” in the very heart of Europe. 💙💛

And after the trip, it was time for a fierce battle in the Color Competition! 🏆

🔴 1st place — the red team (girls from Room 1 and boys from Room 8);
🟡 2nd place — the yellow team;
🟢 3rd place — the green team.

Congratulations to the winners, and thank you for your team spirit and wonderful energy! 💙💛

В Неділю ми розпочали другий тиждень нашого табору «Сумівці по світу» з молитви. На Службі Божій ми дякували Господу за благословенний, безпечний та успішний перший тиждень таборування, а також просили Його опіки на наступні таборовий тиждень.
Після Літургії наші таборовики привітали батьків піснями, яких навчилися протягом першого тижня. Щира подяка виховникові співу Михайлу Козюпі!
Сердечно вітаємо нових таборовиків, які долучилися до другого тижня нашої великої мандрівки світом.

Hartyus’! On Sunday, we began the second week of our “CYMivtsi around the world” summer camp with prayer.

During the Divine Liturgy, we thanked the Lord for a blessed, safe, and successful first week of camp, and asked for His continued protection and guidance throughout the week ahead.

Following the Liturgy, our campers delighted their parents with songs they learned during the first week. A heartfelt thank you to our music instructor Michael Koziupa, for his dedication and enthusiasm!

We also extend a warm welcome to all the new campers who joined us for the second week of our incredible journey around the world. 🌍
