For the first time, members of the public can quickly access all currently registered livestock brands through a convenient online format. Whether you’re checking the status of a brand, preparing for a sale, or moving livestock, the online Brand Book is a practical tool designed to support Washington’s livestock industry and keep business moving smoothly.

The most recent edition of the Brand Book is the 2024–2025 publication. The next edition is scheduled for release in Spring 2026 and will also be available online.

Supplemental Brand Reports will be published quarterly. These reports will include all brands modified since the Brand Book cutoff date, including renewed brands, brands with changes in ownership, and brands with updated address information.

Physical copies of the Brand Book will still be available for purchase by using the brand book order form on our website at https://agr.wa.gov/ or by contacting us the Livestock Identification Program at 360-902-1808 or by email at [email protected]

Don't miss the chance to join Washington’s Beef Community for the 16th Annual Beef Counts Rollover Auction.

The Beef Counts Rollover Auction will be held at the Toppen*sh Livestock Commission (428 South G Street) on Tuesday, September 30th at 4:45pm.

The Rollover Auction provides all of us in the Beef Community the chance to directly support Beef Counts at Second Harvest which addresses food insecurity through Second Harvest with partner Agri Beef Co. Since 2010, Washington’s Beef Community has been the heart and soul of the Beef Counts program at Second Harvest, with the specific purpose of providing struggling families with high-quality, nutritious beef.

This year's calf has been generously donated by Pete & Samee Charriere of Ledgerwood Gelbvieh. All funds raised during the Annual Rollover Auction will go directly to Second Harvest to purchase beef for their Mobile Market program.

At this year's auction, every County Cattlemen's and CattleWomen's Association that donates $2,000 or more has the guarantee to host a Beef Counts Second Harvest Mobile Market in their county in 2026. This is a great opportunity to support your Beef Counts program and serve your community.

If you are unable to attend this year’s auction but wish to donate, please contact Toppen*sh Livestock Commission directly at 509.865.2820 to place your call-in donation or you can also donate directly to Beef Counts at Second Harvest online.
