Primate Awareness Network

Primate Awareness Network Sanctuary. Education. Conservation. Awareness. New members are always welcome!

The Primate Awareness Network (PAN) is a student club, based out of Central Washington University, focused on educating the public about the impact of humans on captive and free-living primates. The impact is both direct (bushmeat, logging, biomedical research, and exploitation through entertainment) and indirect (supporting particular logging companies, palm oil production, and entertainment companies).

We had a blast at Boo Central!

This year our theme was to honor Jane Goodall and all the amazing events throughout her life. The timeline highlights some (not all) of the important impacts that Jane has had on the world.

Thank you for visiting our table and playing jungle pong with us! 🐵🌿🎃
