Summit is Mercer Creek Church's Middle School Ministry Group for students 6-8th Grade.

Hi Families,

We are keeping an eye on the air quality as we set up for our Summit/Journey event tonight. We are excited to get together and have alternate plans to make that happen. If the air quality remains at Fair or Moderate, we will continue with our outdoor Water Day and completely understand that kids will come based on parental discretion. If the air quality moves to Unhealthy or Hazardous, we will reorganize the event to indoor games. Both plans will include ice cream and popsicles and fun to be had. We look forward to seeing you and appreciate your flexibility as we work together to get together!

Is your middle schooler interested in getting baptized? Our next class is on Zoom on August 5th. This is a great space to learn more, ask questions, and get signed up. Want to join? Reach out to Director Aidan for all the info!

It's almost time for us to all be back together again!
Summit Sunday kicks off again on January 5th at the 10:30 service in the Mt. Stuart Room.
Summit Wednesday will be back on January 8th at 6:30pm in the Gym.
We can't wait to see your students there!

We are looking forward to kicking off 2025 with a baptism class! If your student is interested in being baptized, this is the first step they need to take. The class will be between services (10am) in Room 13. We hope to see your students there. Please

Important update: Due to an exciting amount of baptisms, we are pushing some of our baptisms (including Summit) to December 1st. Class will still be this Sunday, and we can't wait to see your student at 10am in Room 13!

We have had so much interest in baptisms that we are adding more baptism dates in November! We will have baptisms on November 10th and November 24th. Your student must attend a baptism class prior to being baptized. MC Kids and Summit will have a joint baptism class on November 10th at 10am in Room 13. We have the class to make sure the student understands what baptism is, why we do it, and it helps me to see if they are ready. If that time doesn't work for your family, reach out and we can find another time to meet for your child's baptism class. If you have any questions about anything related to baptism, let me know!

We have been having a blast with your students at Summit the last couple of weeks. We've been tackling some big questions and talking about our identity, how we think, and how we act. It's been so good! We are looking forward to our Cowboy Night next week where we get to continue building relationships with one another and we'll share the Gospel message. This is going to be something your students won't want to miss!
We will also have invite cards available for your students to pick up at Summit Sunday this week (10:30 service in the Mt. Stuart Room). See you there!

Baptisms are right around the corner!
We have our class this Sunday, October 6th, at 10 am in Room 15. Baptisms themselves will be on October 20th. We'd love to have you there! Reach out to Aidan or Brenna if you have any questions.
