r be helping you instead of playing with the other kids. He was a lot of things to a lot of people but to me he was everything – he was my best friend. He was supposed to make a difference in this world but he didn’t get the time so I need to do it for him. The Team Jakob Youth Sports Foundation, INC. is created in his memory and from his caring and giving spirit and his love of sports to be his legacy that will carry on and touch the lives of others. This foundations purpose is to provide financial aid to children 18 yrs and younger who want to participate in a youth sports program in their community but lack the ability to pay the required fees. There are so many benefits that come from getting children involved in a sports program from developing their athletic ability, creating life long friendships with positive role models, keeping them active and healthy, and keeping them on the right track, and so many other benefits that every child should have this opportunity.The Team Jakob Youth Sports Foundation, INC. is operated by a board of directors consisting of community leaders and coaches who volunteer their time and who evaluate every application for assistance for children meeting the foundations criteria and award funds as available to these children. All records will be open to the public and all events held will be planned and held by volunteers using donated supplies whenever possible so that most of the money raised can go directly to the cause. I hope that you will become a supporter and partner with us in giving the children in your community a better chance. We are happy to accept any donation you are able to give whether it be monetary or items for door prizes and raffles. We believe that anything you do to help the children will not only enrich their lives but yours also.
