Elk River Rising

Elk River Rising Elk River Rising was organized to help the athletic departments of schools on the Elk River recovering from devastating flood damage on June 23, 2016.

Elk River Rising is proud to serve our Elkview, Clendenin and surrounding Elk River WV areas. Tim Shinn, a Blue Creek WV native, immediately jumped on board to design the image. Delford Chaffin quickly volunteered to get our domain and store set up and running. Please rest assured ALL proceeds will go directly to Herbert Hoover's and Elk Valley Christian's athletics programs. The sports programs a

t both schools suffered huge losses when equipment and uniforms were destroyed in the recent massive flooding in our little community. We hope to offer the kids of the community a sense of normalcy by restoring these programs as quickly as possible. Thank you for your donation.
