Baby teeth may be temporary, but they play an important role in your child’s development! 🦷

Healthy baby teeth help children chew food, develop speech, and hold space for adult teeth.

Help protect those little smiles by brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and keeping regular dental appointments. 💛

What a great day we had at Milburn Orchards on Friday with our playgroup families. 🍁🍂

We rode on a hayride, played with our friends, saw some animals and ate delicious apple c***r donuts! 🚜🐐🐓🍩

Everyone had a blast and the weather was perfect for a day at the orchard! 🧡

Positive attention can go a long way! 💛

When your child follows directions, shares, helps, uses kind words, or makes a good choice, let them know you noticed.

Try saying:
✨ “I love how you helped clean up!”
✨ “You did a great job waiting your turn!”
✨ “Thank you for using gentle hands.”
Specific praise helps children understand which behaviors you want to encourage.

Remember: Parenting isn't about being perfect. It's about helping children learn, one moment at a time. ❤️

“I do it myself!” may be a phrase you hear a LOT during the toddler years. 😅💛

While it can sometimes take a little longer, giving young children opportunities to try things on their own helps them develop independence and confidence.

Let your little one help:
👕 Get dressed
🥄 Feed themselves
🧸 Put away toys
🧦 Choose between two outfits
🧹 Help with simple chores

They may not do it perfectly—and that’s okay!

Every little attempt is an opportunity to learn. 🌟

One of the best ways to prepare children for school is to help them feel confident trying things on their own. 💪

Encourage your child to:
👟 Put on shoes or a coat
🧸 Clean up toys
🍎 Help with simple tasks
🙋 Ask for help when needed
💛 Express their feelings

Small steps toward independence today help children feel more capable tomorrow!

Young children thrive when they know what to expect.

Consistent routines help children feel safe, build confidence, and develop important skills like independence and self-regulation. 💛

Simple routines like regular mealtimes, playtime, bath time, and bedtime can help make the day feel more predictable.

Routines don’t have to be perfect—just loving and consistent!

Even when your child seems healthy, regular well-child visits are an important part of helping them grow and thrive! 🌱

These visits allow healthcare providers to monitor growth and development, discuss nutrition and sleep, answer questions, and identify concerns early.

📅 Keep those checkups on the calendar—preventive care helps build a healthier future!

Reading with your child—even for just a few minutes a day—helps build vocabulary, listening skills, imagination, and a love of learning. ✨

Let your child turn the pages, point to pictures, ask questions, and even “read” the story their own way. There’s no wrong way to enjoy a book together!

📚 Little readers today. Lifelong learners tomorrow.

Learning the names and order of number words is one important part of early counting. You can't force your child to learn these numbers in sequence. However, you can provide lots of meaningful opportunities to use counting as you go about your day.
