Today is the SECOND of four mandatory Animal Exhibitor Meetings. This meeting is required for ALL animal exhibitors, regardless of whether you are participating in the livestock sale and regardless of whether you attended a meeting last year.

‼️ Every exhibitor must attend ONE mandatory meeting in order to exhibit at the Cecil County Fair.

Please make sure all required ownership, lease, and identification forms are completed and submitted by TODAY’S deadline. ⏰

• Dairy Cattle - Dairy cows must be owned/leased before first freshening OR before 2 years of age, whichever comes first

🔹 Breeding Animal Leases (Beef, Dairy, Sheep, Swine & Goats)
A member may not own and lease animals in the same general project area.

🔹 Performance Animal Leases (Horse, Dog, Alpacas & Llamas)
An animal may be leased by up to two different 4-H members and can only be exhibited in one class by one member.

Cecil County 4-H Camp is back for 2026! Join us August 9–14 at “The Rocks” in Harford County for a week full of fun, friendships, pool time, nature, archery, campfires, and unforgettable memories! 🌲🏹☀️

Open to youth ages 8–14, including both 4-H and non-4-H members!

Breeders’ Fair entry fees can be dropped off at our NEW office location during the following times:

🗓 Tuesday, May 26th: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
🗓 Wednesday, May 27th: 8:00 AM–6:30 PM

🗓 Friday, May 29th: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

‼️ Reminder: Entry fees are due by May 29th and this deadline is firm. Please plan accordingly, as late payments will not be accepted.

Checks should be made payable to University of Maryland.

‼️ Please note that the Cecil County Extension Office will be relocating on May 20th and 21st, 2026. Our new office address will be 107 Chesapeake Blvd., Suite 104, Elkton, MD 21921.
