Sew and Reap

Sew and Reap Sew and Reap is a Christian based mission providing comfort to cancer patients, wounded soldiers, active Military and local pregnancy centers.

The quilts are sewn by Volunteers using donated sewing machines, fabric, thread and batting. Then donated to many places such as Union Hospital, Dover Air force Base Mortuary Affairs, Pregnancy centers. Veterans facilities, Hospice pinning ceremonies for our Veterans, and many individuals with terminal illness. We also create fundraising quilts for many causes. We are currently working from several individuals homes in. Cecil County since our little quilting cottage was sold.

These lovely Mommy and Me quilts will be auctioned at the Alphas Glory Fundraiser in Harford County tomorrow.
Huge Thank you to Susan Stinett for piecing the kits together. And Thank you to Sandy Goins for quilting the baby quilt. I enjoyed quilting the larger one. Also want to say Thank you to my Amish neighbor for binding them.
I’m enjoying the skill building time with our new team members.
So blessed we are.💝

Yesterday we hosted our Pink Jelly Roll race. 🩷Sew much fun with these ladies. Congratulations to Vicki for the first place win.🏁
Thank you to Susan for officiating the race and to Janice for the photography. Thank you ladies for bringing the fun race themed snacks.
Our next meeting in June the ladies will be embellishing the pink quilt tops. Can’t wait to see what they create. These comfort quilts will be donated to the Breast Center at Union Hospital. 🎀
