The TCCHS Alumni Foundation was set up yesterday at HarvestFest! We appreciate so much those who stopped by, chatted, and supported our efforts to raise monies for our scholarship efforts! The winner of the gift basket we raffled off yesterday was Danny Laster, a TCCHS graduate! We encourage all graduates and friends of TCCHS to become members; a yearly membership is $10 while a lifetime membership is $200. Those memberships also assist us with our scholarship efforts. TCCHS Alumni Foundation, Inc. Meets IRS Requirements for Tax-Exempt Status …

Late last spring the directors of the TCCHS Alumni Association opted to form our own non-profit foundation, the TCCHS Alumni Foundation, Inc. (In the past we worked under a foundation previously formed by the Todd County Board of Education.) We are so very thankful for the assistance of Tyler Gill of ELPO Law as he walked us through the steps required to complete what was necessary for us to receive a 501(c)(3) status for our Todd County Central High School Alumni Foundation, Inc.. Our Articles of Incorporation were signed at the state level in June of 2023, and today we received notification from the IRS that we have been approved as a tax-exempt public charity effective June 30, 2023. We are so very thankful to those who assisted us with this endeavor — Tyler Gill and ELPO Law, Kentucky State Representative Jason Petrie, the TCCHS Alumni Board of Directors, and Earl Calhoun and his staff of Calhoun & Company, PLLC of Hopkinsville. We are so pleased with the support we have received in the past, and we know we will continue to be blessed with those who believe in our efforts to provide scholarships for the graduates of TCCHS. If you would like to make a donation, checks may be made to the TCCHS Alumni Foundation, P.O. Box 611, Elkton, KY 42220. The new logo was designed by Brittney Addison, a 2006 TCCHS graduate as well as an APSU graduate with a degree in fine arts/graphic design. Memberships for the Foundation are $10 yearly or $200 lifetime. These monies also help us with our scholarship efforts! We have added two new items that sell for $5 that also provide monies for our scholarship coffer!
