FY2026 Partner Highlight: Bayside Community Network Inc

For more than 50 years, Bayside has helped people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live fulfilling lives right here in Cecil County. We are proud to recognize them as one of our FY2026 funded partners!

Our support helped individuals in Bayside’s Community Development Services program participate in activities with their peers by covering entry fees, tickets, and other costs that may otherwise have kept them from joining in.

These experiences help individuals build friendships, strengthen social skills, explore employment opportunities, and become more independent.

FY2026 Partner Highlight: Deep Roots, Inc. at Clairvaux Farm

United Way of Cecil County is proud to have supported Deep Roots at Clairvaux Farm through our FY2026 agency allocations. Our support helps Deep Roots continue saying “yes” to families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

This summer, Deep Roots served more residents at one time than ever before: 31 children and 20 adults.

Each of those numbers represents a family facing homelessness. Parents are working to find stable housing, secure employment, and rebuild their lives, all while doing their best to give their children a sense of safety and normalcy.

That is where Deep Roots steps in.

Located on a 21-acre farm here in Cecil County, Deep Roots provides families with a safe place to stay, meals, case management, transportation assistance, children’s programming, employment and life-skills support, and someone to walk alongside them as they work toward stability and permanent housing.

Deep Roots understands that families need more than a roof over their heads. Parents need support as they work through the challenges that led to homelessness, and children need a safe place where they can simply be children.

We are grateful for everything Deep Roots does for families in our community and proud to highlight them as one of our FY2026 funded partners.
