This month in Mosaic Elementary, we’re diving in and exploring the incredible truth that each one of us is a Masterpiece: Made by God–in God’s very own image! Throughout the month, kids will discover that they are created for a purpose, that God can use everything in our lives, that every single person is of value because they are made in God’s image, and that God has gifted us to work together to grow His kingdom.

We wrapped up the month with the story of God’s people rebuilding the tabernacle in Exodus. God gave specific gifts so that all God’s people could work together to build God’s temple.

Bottom Line: God grows His gifts in me to build His Kingdom.

This month in Mosaic Kids, our Preschool theme is Made By God! Preschoolers are little artists. They experience so much joy when they create something and say, “Look at what I made!” But we want preschoolers to know that THEY are made by God and that they are important to God. So this month, our bottom line for preschoolers is God made me wonderful.

We learned about God’s love for the people He created. We know God loves us because he gave us a very special gift. God’s special gift is a person, Jesus! Jesus is God’s Son and Jesus wants to be our friend forever. He is the best gift. God gives us Jesus because He loves us.

This month in Mosaic Elementary, we’re diving in and exploring the incredible truth that each one of us is a Masterpiece: Made by God–in God’s very own image! Throughout the month, kids will discover that they are created for a purpose, that God can use everything in our lives, that every single person is of value because they are made in God’s image, and that God has gifted us to work together to grow His kingdom.

We learned about the woman at the well from John 4. Every single person is made in God’s image, even those who look or believe or act differently. The Samaritan woman at the well was an outsider and from a different cultural background, but Jesus loved and valued her - just as he loves and values every person you will ever meet.

Bottom Line: Jesus values everyone.

We learned how important people are to God. God loves us so much and He knows everything about us! The Bible teaches us that God knows when we sit down and when we wake up. Even before we say a word, God knows what we are going to say. God knows everything about us because we are important to God.

Throughout the month, kids will discover that they are created for a purpose, that God can use everything in our lives, that every single person is of value because they are made in God’s image, and that God has gifted us to work together to grow His kingdom.

We explored Romans 8:28-29 and how God can work for good through every single circumstance. All the pieces of your identity can be used by God to grow you to be more and more like Jesus and to spread his love to others.

Bottom Line: God can use all things.

God did something very special when He made people. God made us to be like Him. God is our leader and He wants us to be like Him: kind and loving. When we are kind and loving, then other people will know that God is kind and loving too.
