🤖 Meet the Robot: da Vinci Xi Surgical System
Date: Thursday, July 23, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: Hospital Main Lobby, 2001 Errecart Blvd., Elko
Details: Come take the hospital's new robotic-assisted surgery system for a "test drive"! No appointment necessary—just swing by. (Clubs and large groups can call Steve Burrows at 775.748.2007 to reserve a block of time).

🏆 Name the Robot: Submit your unique name ideas via their QR code by 4:00 PM on July 23. The winner of the top 10 voted submissions will receive a prize!

The Lions District 46 Student Speakers Foundation is pleased to announce that we have received a $15,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada.

This grant was given by the Reno Arch Lions Club Charitable Fund at the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada, was recommended by the Reno Arch Lions Club, and is designated for general support of the Foundation.

On behalf of President Ja’Lisa Leavell and the Foundation Board of Directors, we extend our sincere appreciation to the donor advisor(s), the Reno Arch Lions Club, and the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada for their generosity and support.

Our annual fundraising goal is $10,000, the amount we award each year in scholarships through the District 46 Student Speakers Program. This generous grant strengthens our Foundation and helps ensure we can continue investing in the students we serve.

Thank you for your confidence in our Foundation and in the future of District 46 Students.

🌟 A Royal Visit to the Elko Lions Club! 🦁

Last week, our club had the absolute pleasure of hosting the newly crowned 2026 Elko County royalty! It was truly inspiring to sit down with these incredible young leaders and hear about their passion for making a difference.

We were honored to welcome:

During our meeting, we dove into the amazing work they are already doing in our community and discussed their exciting visions for the future. It is clear that Elko County has some bright, dedicated advocates leading the way! 💖✨

We had a fantastic time at our meeting last week! 🦁✨

We were honored to host Terry Gage from the Community Foundation of Elko County. The Community Foundation is a vital local resource that connects donors with community needs, helping to grow philanthropy and support impactful projects right here in our area. They play a huge role in empowering local non-profits and improving the quality of life for all of us in Elko County. 🤝❤️

We are also very proud to share that the Elko Lions recently donated $500 to support their important mission! 💵🦁
