A Vision for Our Future: Stepping Forward for Constitutional Area 1 🦁
Greetings, Fellow Lions!
For years, serving alongside you in District 46 Nevada/California and around the world, has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Together, we have strengthened communities, mentored incredible new leaders, and proven that where there is a need, there is a Lion.
As we look toward the future of our global association, I am excited to share that I am seeking the opportunity to serve you on a broader scale as International Director from Constitutional Area 1.
Our local clubs are the heartbeat of Lions International. My goal is to bring our shared experiences from Nevada, California, and across North America to the international board—focusing on:
• Empowering local clubs with flexible, modern resources.
• Supporting retention and growth through meaningful hands-on service.
• Fostering the next generation of innovative Lions leaders.
This page will serve as a hub for ideas, updates, and collaborative discussions on how we can best support our clubs and districts. I look forward to connecting with voting delegates, past and present leaders, and dedicated members across CA1 over the coming months.

🤖 Meet the Robot: da Vinci Xi Surgical System
Date: Thursday, July 23, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: Hospital Main Lobby, 2001 Errecart Blvd., Elko
Details: Come take the hospital's new robotic-assisted surgery system for a "test drive"! No appointment necessary—just swing by. (Clubs and large groups can call Steve Burrows at 775.748.2007 to reserve a block of time).

🏆 Name the Robot: Submit your unique name ideas via their QR code by 4:00 PM on July 23. The winner of the top 10 voted submissions will receive a prize!
