A heartfelt THANK YOU to St. Mark Lutheran Church & Preschool and its congregation for their incredible generosity and support of Ruby Mountain Resource Center!🧡

We are so grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for our mission and the individuals we serve. Contributions like this make a meaningful difference in our ability to provide opportunities for growth, independence, and meaningful employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Thank you, Pastor Jake and the entire St. Mark congregation, for believing in our mission and investing in the individuals we serve. Your kindness and generosity are truly appreciated!🧡

The Church has been given a clear mission by Jesus: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)

We carry out this mission by sharing the Word of God and by sharing the love of Christ with those around us. One of the ways St. Mark seeks to show that love is by supporting organizations that serve our local community.

Whenever a month has five Sundays, the offering received on the 5th Sunday is given to a local non-profit organization serving the Elko area.

In August, St. Mark was blessed with a 5th Sunday, and we chose to give that offering to the Ruby Mountain Resource Center. On Monday, October 5, Pastor Jake had the opportunity to meet with Alley, Executive Director of the Ruby Mountain Resource Center, and present her with a check on behalf of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

We give thanks to God for the opportunity to support the work being done right here in our community, and we are especially thankful for the generous support of the St. Mark congregation. Your generosity makes it possible for us to share the love of Christ not only in Word, but also through our care for our neighbors.

Thank you, St. Mark, for helping us love and serve our community!

Patriot Day & National Day of Service and Remembrance🇺🇸

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the heroes who stepped forward to help, and reflect on the incredible spirit of unity and service that followed.

As we commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we encourage our community to honor this day through service. Whether you give your time, lend a helping hand, or simply do something kind for a neighbor, every act of service makes our community a little stronger.🧡

Looking for a way to give back? RMRC has volunteer opportunities available! Give us a call to learn how you can get involved and make a difference right here in our community. (775)738-8360
