Local Elko county Girl Scouts were honored to join Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4H members, and other youth in helping carry the 50x30 foot American flag in today’s July 4th Parade!! What a wonderful experience, thank you for the opportunity!! Have a great holiday and be safe!!

Our local Girl Scouts are very thankful to the city of Elko and the council members for giving us our home back!! We are very happy with Tuesday’s vote and look forward to making many more years of memories at the Elko Girl Scout House!

The city's deed reclaiming the property was recorded this April. The house is planned to continue being a community space and used by the local Scouts.

Local Girl Scouts from Troop 234, Troop 311, and a couple Juliette scouts, recently attended an amazing camporee put on by Girl Scouts of Utah at Trefoil Ranch in Provo Canyon.

Our scouts had a blast at camporee! Thank you so much for welcoming them to your camporee and giving them this amazing experience! At the end of camp, all of the scouts joined together to make the largest friendship circle WE have ever seen!

Our scouts pitched tents, camped outside, cooked meals outside, learned fire making and fire safety, met a couple raptors and learned about birds of prey, got to do some creative art, trades SWAPS with other scouts, and have a wild rumpus dance party by the lodge.

Thank you for being a sister to every Girl Scout!! Our scouts felt so welcomed at your camporee! We hope even more scouts will be able to go in 2029!

Throughout the month of May, many of our local Elko County Girl Scouts helped plant several trees in our community in partnership with Rotary Club of Elko. Locations included Spring Creek Elementary, Liberty Peak, Spring Creek Golf Course, and Elko City Park. Girl Scouts are proud to help out in our community!

Some of our Elko County Girl Scouts volunteered their Saturday morning to pay respects to veterans by placing flags on their graves for Memorial Day. Thank you scouts!
