Local Girl Scouts from Troop 234, Troop 311, and a couple Juliette scouts, recently attended an amazing camporee put on by Girl Scouts of Utah at Trefoil Ranch in Provo Canyon.

Our scouts had a blast at camporee! Thank you so much for welcoming them to your camporee and giving them this amazing experience! At the end of camp, all of the scouts joined together to make the largest friendship circle WE have ever seen!

Our scouts pitched tents, camped outside, cooked meals outside, learned fire making and fire safety, met a couple raptors and learned about birds of prey, got to do some creative art, trades SWAPS with other scouts, and have a wild rumpus dance party by the lodge.

Thank you for being a sister to every Girl Scout!! Our scouts felt so welcomed at your camporee! We hope even more scouts will be able to go in 2029!

Throughout the month of May, many of our local Elko County Girl Scouts helped plant several trees in our community in partnership with Rotary Club of Elko. Locations included Spring Creek Elementary, Liberty Peak, Spring Creek Golf Course, and Elko City Park. Girl Scouts are proud to help out in our community!

Some of our Elko County Girl Scouts volunteered their Saturday morning to pay respects to veterans by placing flags on their graves for Memorial Day. Thank you scouts!

Some of our local Girl Scout have been helping to plant new trees around the community! We love when !! Thank you Rotary for this service opportunity!

This past weekend we were able to celebrate our 500+ Club with an ice cream party and a showing of the original Parent Trap movie at the Northeastern Nevada Museum! What is the 500+ Club you ask? Well it's an exclusive club for Girl Scouts that sold over 500 boxes of Girl Scout cookies in a season. Thank you to everyone that made this possible, from you the customer to D'ette at the museum. Less than 8 months left until next years sales!

Elko County Girl Scouts partnered with Rotary Club of Elko to do some more restoration work at Johnny Appleseed park this morning as part of Clean Up Green up for Earth Day. Thank you to everyone who helped clean up our community today, no matter where you cleaned at!!

We had a blast this morning at the Kindergarten Summit put on by Head Start of Northeastern Nevada meeting all the future kindergarten kids! Girl Scouts is a great activity to get started in at any age. We have scouts in kindergarten all the way up to senior year in high school! If you are looking for a troop to join or just have some questions, please send our page a message and we will do our best to help you.
