Carlin Clean Up Week is June 7-14, 2026. The dumpsters at Carlin Public Works will be free and open from 7 AM - 3:30 PM (closed for lunch from 12 PM - 1 PM).
Tires, fridges, and freezers will be charged their normal rates.
Commercial businesses, property managers, and rental owners will be charged the normal rate.

We are offering haul away assistance, if needed, call Jennifer (775-754-6515) at Public Works to see if you are eligible by June 5, 2026!

1915 — The 4th Annual Elko Rodeo met the 1st Elko County Fair, and they made history together. Wild West shows, horse races, automobile races, and world champion trick riders including Hippodrome Riding (pictured). 114 years later, the tradition lives on.
