For anyone who received a text saying your child had been selected for this year’s event, please respond to the text message if you’re confused about when and where to drop your child off next Saturday. For the safety of the participants, we do not publicly post the location and time for drop off.

We received a very generous donation from the Elko BCA Pool League today! They collected over $3200 in donations for Shop with a Cop through their Jon Ames Memorial Billiards Tournament held on November 22, 2025.

We have also received various anonymous donations from community members this month and last month.

We cannot thank you all enough for your generous support of our organization. We are 100% donation funded, we could not do this without your support. 🎄🚔

Good Morning!

Selections have been made for the 2025 Shop with a Cop season! We want to thank everyone for applying. We receive hundreds of applications each year and can only select 100 local children. If your child was selected, you should have been contacted with details about the event, date, time, etc.

If your child was not selected this year, please apply next year. Applications open around mid-October and run through mid-November. If you're still in need of holiday assistance, there are several local programs hosting Angel Trees this year.

We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. Thank you again for all of your support.

Applications are due TOMORROW (Nov 14th) by 5:00PM. Late applications will not be accepted as we still need to go through the selection process. You may apply online at the links previously shared or pick up hard copies at the Elko Police Department, Elko County Sheriff’s Office, or any local school.

Only FOUR more days to turn in applications for this year’s Shop with a Cop event!

We have both an English and a Spanish version to assist applicants. Please use the links below to complete the applications. All local law enforcement agencies and school counselors will have paper copies as well. Paper copies must be turned in by 5:00 PM this Friday.

Remember, application submission does not equal guaranteed selection.
