🚨Don’t panic!!

Veterans and GBC students - we know you have noticed our pantry is no longer in the hallway…

We are no longer able to keep the pantry in the hall BUT we will keep it going in the VRC office!

Thanks to our local Walmart and VFW we will continue the pantry during business hours.

Reminder- our local VFW has a large pantry open every Wed from 9-12, and they will continue to support ours to make sure those that can’t make those hours!

Community supporting community… we love it!

Welcome to Mutt Monday!

This week we are doing something a little different - normally we highlight a rescue from our friends at Endless Pawsibilities Foundation that show qualifies and potential for a service dog.

Instead, we are going to bring the focus to a very special girl named Bella. We know our shelter friends can sometimes get a bad rep… can’t be trained, behavior issues, etc, so when we met Bella, we knew we had to put her in the spotlight!

Bella is about 2 years old, border terrier mix, and as smart as can be! She has already mastered sit, down and shake, she loves a ride in the car and she received 10/10 good girl points from her spa morning at Bark in Style, LLC

Terriers are naturally independent, curious, brilliant and eager to please 🤍 let this girl be your shot gun seat, your adventure buddy, your bestie, your ride or die partner! Meet her today at the VRC from 10 to 2!

As always, thanks to our partners Elko Veteran Corps all Veterans adopt free!

🇺🇸Military Day at BBYCA!

The VRC teamed up with local veterans from the VFW and Legion to work alongside some of our current service members to provide a ‘get to know the military day’ for our cadets!

Current serving and veterans of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force came out to answer questions, talk history and share experiences with our next generation.

As always - we at the VRC are proud supporters of the Battle Born Youth ChalleNGe Academy

We encourage everyone to get to know this free and voluntary program, get involved, or consider becoming a youth mentor!

Want to know how to get involved with this an other amazing local programs? Reach out to the VRC!
