Nevada Classical Academy Elko believes in school choice!
Nevada Classical Academy Elko is seeking community input and support with the goal of opening a classical school in Elko County. We have invited Steve Lambert, principal of Treasure Valley Classical Academy in Fruitland, Idaho, to speak about the benefits of classical education and answer questions from the community.
Classical education offers explicit instruction with the goal of finding the good, the true, and the beautiful in each subject. This education model offers students high academic achievement and enduring habits of self-government. It prepares them to make a great life, not just a good living.

Yesterday, a delegation from Nevada representing Elko and Lander Counties and organized by the Nevada Lands Council had the privilege to visit the Treasure Valley Classical Academy in Fruitland, Idaho. What a beacon of hope in these turbulent times! The faculty, staff, and students were absolutely amazing. It is evident through their actions (both staff and students) and interactions between each other and us as visitors, that they are wholly committed to their overall mission and vision. They are educating and molding a crop of students that will undoubtedly add value to our society by embracing and embodying the characteristics that made our nation great in the first place; truth, justice, virtue, beauty, and happiness.

It is our hope to see these academy's sprout up all over the country. Hopefully right here in Northern Nevada!
