Today starts our partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada will help provide FREE weekly summer meal boxes through their Kids Cafe Summer Meals program for kids and teens ages 2–18 at the Humboldt County School District (Nevada) food pantry in Winnemucca.

Each grab-and-go box includes: 7 breakfasts, 7 lunches, and shelf-stable meals for the week

The May 22nd, French Ford Middle School's Color Run was an absolute blast! Watching our students run, laugh, and get covered head to toe in bright colors was a joyful moment. The energy, the smiles, and the school spirit were absolutely unmatched!

Events like this don't happen without incredible people behind the scenes. A huge THANK YOU to our amazing school staff, partners, and CIS Site Coordinator Katie Pasquale for going above and beyond to create lasting memories for our students. 💛

This is exactly what it's all about: fun, fitness, community, and celebrating the incredible young people we get to work with every single day.

This week, we celebrated our incredible Lowry High Academy students with good food and great people. A huge thank you to Target Hospitality for providing the meals, and to Greg Hatcher and retired Winnemucca Police Chief Mike Rangel for firing up the grill. Our LHS Academy students showed up all year and put in the work, so today, we showed up for them. 👏

McDermitt Combined School's FIRST-EVER Color Run and Field Day is one for the books! 🎉

Our students showed up, got colorful, and celebrated the end of the school year surrounded by community and celebration for all they accomplished. Thank you to all of your community partners for making this possible.

What an incredible end-of-the-year celebration at McDermitt Combined School with our first-ever Color Run and Field Day! We couldn't have done it without these amazing community partners who showed up with giveaways, lunch, and resources for our students and families: CareSource of Nevada, Bechtel Corporation, Lithium Nevada, Target Hospitality, Humboldt County Bookmobile, and Nevada Outdoor School.

A special thank you to our native dancers for bringing such a beautiful cultural celebration to the day, and to every community member who came out to celebrate the end of the school year with us!

And a special shoutout to our CIS Multi-Site Coordinator, Brittanie Olson, whose vision, hard work, and heart made this schoolwide event possible.
