The Valley Road Run is this Sunday, 10/18 in Jenkintown! We could still use a few volunteers to help with road crew, water stations, and other spots. If you’re available (or if you know some kids who need NHS hours, community service hours, or just want to give back to their local community!) join us on Sunday for an hour or two to support local families in their fight against cancer.

Our Care Package Collection at the run is ON! We are thrilled that so many people have checked in to see how they can help - and this is a pretty easy way to make a big difference. Bring a small item with you - a bottle of Clorox wipes, a jar of peanut butter, canned tuna, or even toilet paper- drop it off in our collection tent near registration, and we’ll include it in the care packages we send to recipients. We send out care packages throughout the year, full of shelf-stable grocery items, cleaning supplies, and other household necessities to lighten the grocery bills and offer that helping hand. Thank you for helping us provide in so many different ways!!!

obSESSed with these gorgeous pics from William Tennent Athletics Girls Volleyball Team, who hosted a pink out fundraiser for the Breathing Room. The Valley Road Run 2026 is rescheduled for October 18, 2026!!!

We know this might not work for everyone, but we hope to see as many runners and walkers as we can so we can celebrate and thank you in person! We continue to be blown away by the support shown for Breathing Room families through the Valley Road Run. The sponsors, vendors, teams, individuals, and volunteers continue to make their mark and show that we are truly stronger together in the fight against cancer. We hope you can join us on the 18th!!!

The 9/27 Valley Road Run is POSTPONED. In consultation with Abington Township and due to the forecasted severe weather, we will not be holding the Valley Road Run tomorrow.

We are actively working on an alternate plan and will communicate it out as soon as possible. This year’s group of runners, walkers, teams, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors has already made the VRR a huge success - and we want to celebrate that success with all of you. We know a different date may not work for everyone, but in the best interest of keeping our participants safe, we don’t want you coming out in a nor’easter.

Stay safe, dry, and we will see you as soon as we can!

Packet pickup for tomorrow is changing location from This Little Gallery to the Breathing Room office - 8310 Brookside Road, Elkins Park, 9 AM–12 PM.

But if you’re out shopping, 10% of all sales at This Little Gallery on Saturday will still be donated to the Breathing Room Foundation! We are so grateful for our amazing community partners like This Little Gallery !
