New Opportunity School For Women at Lees-McRae College

We still have vacancies for our NOSW Summer 2025 class which begins on June 1st.
Graduates, if you have family members or friends, please encourage them to join us. We have had several mothers and daughters who have attended at various times as well as sisters.
Our program has offered many women the "opportunity" that they had only imagined. We work with our local community college and NC Works to help prepare you for further educational opportunities or employment. College Scholarships are available to those who complete the program.

New Opportunity School for Women at Lees-McRae College is seeking several more women to join our Summer 2024 Session which will begin on June 2nd

Perhaps you are a graduate who may know someone who could join our class and begin the amazing journey which is NOSW. Look at all that you have accomplished since your time on campus. Whether you have gone on to additional educational endeavors have experienced personal success, each of you have grown in various ways since you were here on campus.

Play it forward and help another woman create her successful pathway to the future.

Today should have been a day of celebration for NOSW at Lees-McRae College as we had scheduled our annual graduation luncheon. However due to COVID 19 our residential session was canceled like so many other activities and events. The past three weeks could have been a time for self reflection and growth for our participants. Instead we are reflecting on past sessions and hoping that our graduates are taking advantage of community resources available.
