Big news from Lakeland Health Care Center! Residents in the Fontana Fields household recently launched the Fontana Fields Foundation, a charitable group dedicated to giving back to our community. Their second fundraiser—a food drive and candy sale—benefited the Elkhorn Food Pantry, with generous food and candy donations and an incredible $300 raised to help feed local families! We're so grateful to all the friends, family, and staff members who pitched in and made a real difference. Let’s keep the compassion going!

We’re sorry to announce that the online ordering service for the Pantry is about to be discontinued. The volume of business that the Pantry is experiencing, combined with its small space and the recent high proportion of orders that are being filled but not picked up, has made the online orders unsustainable.

The last day for online orders will be Friday, 10/31. On 10/31, the online ordering system will be removed. We will put in its place on the web site a copy of the order sheet that you receive when you arrive at the Pantry. If you prefer, you can print this sheet and fill it out before you arrive. Otherwise, you can fill it out when you arrive at the pantry.

We appreciate those of you who used the online orders. We hope to use the efforts that went into supporting it to find other ways to make the Pantry more useful. If you have any suggestions, please pass them on, either by email at [email protected], or by mentioning them when you come in.
