While it may have been rainy to start off Day 2 of the 177th Walworth County Fair - "Glitter and Gold: A Fair to Behold", nothing could dampen the smiles of our volunteers and customers at the Walworth County FFA Grill 'n' Chill at 177th Walworth County Fair, September 2-7, 2026. We had some special visitors! Walworth County Fairest of the Fair Olivia Lois and Fair Royalty Piper Neuhring crafted some delicious grilled cheese sandwiches made with all natural Sargento Cheese. They also got some Prairie Farms Dairy shakes and Star Spangled Berry Sundaes -- a perfect pairing to the grilled cheese sandwiches. Thanks for making Thursday a great one!

Rise and shine, its breakfast time here at the 177th Walworth County Fair - "Glitter and Gold: A Fair to Behold" ! Stop on by the Walworth County FFA Grill 'n' Chill at 177th Walworth County Fair, September 2-7, 2026 for our breakfast sandwiches and All You Can Eat Pancakes! Our pancakes come with 2 delicious sausage patties from Jones Dairy Farm. With the meal, you can also choose one drink from our many milk, iced coffee, or orange juice options from Prairie Farms Dairy (or a coffee or soda to get that extra jump start to the day!) 🧀 TODAY'S CHEESE FEATURE: SWISS! 🧀

Today we're serving up more of our grilled cheese favorites—Swiss Grilled Cheese from Sargento Cheese! 🔥🧀

A couple fun facts about Swiss cheese:

🇨🇭 Swiss cheese is famous for its holes, which are actually called “eyes.”
🧀 Those holes are created by carbon dioxide released during the cheese-making process.
😋 Swiss has a delicious nutty, slightly sweet flavor that makes it a perfect match for a hot, buttery grilled cheese!

DAY 1 IS IN THE BOOKS! 🎡🔥

Day 1 of the Walworth County FFA Grill 'n' Chill at 177th Walworth County Fair, September 2-7, 2026 is officially in the books, and we want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who helped make it possible! 💙💛

It was a little warm today... okay, okay... IT WAS JUST TOTALLY HOT! 🥵🔥

But thankfully, the Grill 'n' Chill deals were HOTTER! 🔥😂

🧀 Fresh grilled cheese
🍔 Great burgers
🥞 Breakfast favorites
🥤 Ice-cold shakes
🥛 Cold milk
🌮 Snacks and nachos..all at a GREAT PRICE!

And the best part?

A GREAT CAUSE! 💙💛

Every purchase helps support the six Walworth County FFA chapters --Badger Agriscience & FFA, Big Foot FFA Organization , Delavan-Darien FFA, East Troy FFA, Elkhorn FFA Organization, and Whitewater FFA-- and provides opportunities for local students in agricultural education.

So thank you to our volunteers for sweating it out with us today—and thank YOU for stopping by, supporting FFA, and enjoying some great fair food!

🎄✨ It’s feeling just like Christmas morning here at the fairgrounds! 🎡❤️

The grounds are really looking GOOD, everything is coming together, and you can feel the excitement in the air! People are starting to bustle around, getting things ready, and little by little, the fairgrounds are coming to life.

And we’re almost ready to fire up the Walworth County FFA Grill 'n' Chill at 177th Walworth County Fair, September 2-7, 2026 and start serving YOU! 🍔🔥 Come see us, grab some great food, soak up the fairground atmosphere, and enjoy all the excitement that comes with fair time!

ONE. MORE. SLEEP. 🎡🔥🧀

Tomorrow, the wait is finally over!

The 177th Walworth County Fair begins, and the Walworth County FFA Grill 'n' Chill at 177th Walworth County Fair, September 2-7, 2026 is ready to welcome you for the BEST 6 DAYS OF SUMMER! 💙💛

We've spent the last several weeks telling you about the food, the people, and most importantly, the students behind it all. Tomorrow, it all comes together!

🧀 Wisconsin grilled cheese made with real Wisconsin butter and four varieties of all-natural Wisconsin Sargento Cheese.

🍔 Fresh burgers—single or double, plain or with cheese—grilled to perfection by our hardworking volunteers.

🥞 Breakfast every morning, including all-you-can-eat pancakes and breakfast sandwiches featuring Jones Dairy Farm sausage.

🥛 Prairie Farms Dairy milk, including white, chocolate, strawberry, chocolate/peanut butter, salted caramel, and then also iced coffee.

🥤 Ice-cold shakes, nachos, chips, sundaes, and plenty of other fair favorites!

But the Grill 'n' Chill is about SO much more than food.

Behind that counter are FFA members, agriculture teachers, parents, alumni, school supporters, and countless volunteers who give their time to make six days at the fair possible.

Last year, more than 200 different people stepped forward to help.

And behind those volunteers are six Walworth County FFA chapters— Agriscience & FFA, Big Foot FFA Organization , Delavan-Darien FFA, East Troy FFA, Elkhorn FFA Organization, and Whitewater FFA.

The funds raised through the Grill 'n' Chill go directly back to these students, helping provide scholarships, classroom supplies, travel, registration fees, conventions, chapter activities, community service projects, and countless other opportunities.

So tomorrow, when you stop for that grilled cheese or shake, remember the REAL reason behind the Grill 'n' Chill.

It's about youth. Agriculture. Education. Community. Leadership. And bringing people together. 🌱💙💛

Take time to visit the 4-H and FFA projects. Talk with the students. Check out the vendors. Ride the rides. Make some memories.

And YES... come see us for some great food, too! 😂🧀🍔🥤
