Michiana Festival of Beers Michiana Festival of Beers, in South Bend, Indiana is a celebration of craft brewers and our community coming together to support a great local cause!

MISSION STATEMENT:
To host the premier local craft beer event for the Michiana area in order to maximize exposure and charitable contributions for our community partners. This is an annual outdoor craft beer sampling festival that features regional craft beer, local foods and great music - with all profits going to local charities. The 2022 charity was Resale to the Rescue and we raised $12,000 fo

r their humane efforts. We have raised over $72,000 for local charities over the last few years. Our goal is to host an event with a more personal and pleasurable craft beer experience. Starting in 2019, planning of the event has been coordinated by MEGA (Michiana Extract and Grain Association), which is a local homebrew club.

It was a great night at Hop Station Craft Bar. The Michiana Festival of Beers 2026 Planning Committee held a team meeting and also celebrated our friend and Brewer Josh Goins. Josh got his start with the Michiana Extract and Grain Association (MEGA ) in the Home Brew Club. Now he is the award winning Brewer for Studebaker Brewing Co.

We are proud to call Josh a friend and certainly legacy partner with the fest.

Brewer Spotlight: Josh Goins of Studebaker Brewing Co., New Carlisle, IN.

What a great night at Hop Station Craft Bar in Mishawaka celebrating the outstanding beers of Studebaker Brewing Company during their tap takeover event.

Brewer Josh Goins recently poured the very last keg of his popular Lugnut Coconut Stout at Studebaker Brewing Company. One loyal customer, Jen, was disappointed to hear it was gone.

Josh had a solution. He told her she could find more Lugnut Coconut Stout at the Studebaker Tap Takeover at Hop Station. Jen showed up, enjoyed another pour, and supported Studebaker Brewing Company, Hop Station and Josh.

She also shared how much she enjoys Hop Station Craft Bar, making for a fun evening celebrating local craft beer and the people who make our beer community so special.

Who knows, maybe we’ll see Jen at the Michiana Festival of Beers 2026.
