4th of July Color Run, join the fun!

This 4th of July, the Morton County Chamber wants to see our community covered in red, white, and blue as we celebrate 250 years of freedom!

We’re encouraging businesses to decorate their storefronts, buildings, and properties in an America 250 theme. Whether it’s patriotic, historical, or creatively red, white, and blue—we want to see it! Businesses that participate will be eligible for special Chamber recognition for their display.

🏡 Not a business owner? You can join in too!

We’d love to see residents decorate their yards, porches, fences, hay bales, mailboxes, and outdoor spaces with patriotic pride. Get creative and help make Morton County shine! Residential displays won’t be judged—it’s simply for fun, community spirit, and celebrating together.

Let’s make this a community-wide celebration to remember and show what small-town patriotism looks like! We encourage decorations to be up by the week of July 4th so everyone can enjoy them.

We need volunteers to COOK and SERVE... we are also looking for someone who is interested in taking over the Dunk Tank this year. Please let us know if this is something you can help with. We will have all the supplies for lunch provided, we just need man-power! 💪💪💪

We need help setting up shade tents, putting out tubs with iced down bottled water, setting up road blocks (and moving them periodically), manning activities, cooking/serving food, picking up trash, and packing up tents/water at the end of the day. We are not expecting anyone to commit to the whole day. What would be helpful is if people could sign up for one task and we divide and conquer so that no one gets over worked. This is such a fun event but we only have a few board members on hand each year. It takes a village- we know we have a great village here, so please let us know where you are willing to lend a hand. Lets make this celebration the BEST one yet!
