What a great day out at the Maplecrest Country Club for the 5th Annual NuWay Construction Charity Golf Outing!

NuWay Construction wanted to give back to their community, and an employee had an idea … a charity golf outing. They weren't sure how it would go, but they took a leap.

Five years later, they have a full roster of golfers (29 teams!), local businesses signed on as sponsors, and community members showing up to play and give. And every year, it all rallies around a local nonprofit that deserves the spotlight.

This year, the nonprofit is Startup Moxie, a program empowering Elkhart County high school students to think and build like entrepreneurs. The outing raised $30,000 for Startup Moxie!

Beyond the outing, NuWay's Community Impact Builder initiative highlights a local nonprofit each month, keeping the spirit of giving going all year long.

This is what it looks like when a local business takes a chance on doing something good and just keeps showing up.
