Harris Rosen, a self-made millionaire from Florida, decided to “adopt” the struggling neighborhood of Tangelo Park in Orlando. He provided free daycare for all young children, offered parenting resources, and made sure every high school graduate received a full college or trade school scholarship, covering tuition, room, and board.

The results were life changing. Crime in the area dropped dramatically, and the high school graduation rate skyrocketed from just 25% to 100%. What was once a community struggling with poverty and limited opportunities is now thriving, all thanks to one man’s belief that education can change everything.
