ROAD COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS worked to help solve a problem by digging a channel to move snowmelt and rain through the existing culvert. In recent winters the ice build up made this a dangerous intersection. We invited Fire District and they helped by blowing out the sand and dirt out of culvert with a fire truck hose. Thank You. A message from our Election Committee Chair: Diana Kenworthy

A big "Thank You" to everyone who attended our Annual Meeting & Potluck today and to all who voted in the election!! We have elected five new Board Directors. Here are the results of the election: Keith Cox had the most votes with 74. Gary Long and Abram Cosby received 65 votes each. Because these three candidates had the most votes, they will serve three year terms. Paul Cramer received 55 votes, so he will serve a two year term, and Jim Markley had 35 votes, so he will serve a one year term. The top three write in votes were Charlie Bennett with 11 votes; Mike Brown with 9 and Joe Dickinson with 8 votes. These will be our three alternates. Soon the new board will meet and decide who will hold the executive positions for the next year. We are happy to welcome our new directors to the board! Let's all have a great year!

Lake Cleanup and Potluck Picnic Day

Saturday, May 4th is the date this year for our annual Lake Cleanup and Picnic! Everyone is meeting at the community center at 9:00 am. Then we will split up and go do our spring cleaning! We are planning to have two large dumpsters located at the north dam for everyone to use. One will be for clean green and one will be for garbage. Please, no large items like furniture or appliances. Just household garbage. The dumpsters should be available Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th. We will all meet back at the community center at noon to enjoy a picnic and some social time with our neighbors. The Lake will be providing hamburgers and hot dogs. We are asking community members to bring a side dish, salad, or dessert. This is always a great time to get things done that we haven’t had time for and to visit with neighbors! We hope to see you all there!
