The Land of Lakes Choirboys is an organization that develops fine young gentlemen through the discipline of music. We pride ourselves on our motto of “Music, Respect and Honor,” teaching boys responsibility and independence, musical skill and self-discipline, manners and appropriate behavior. We bring boys together to celebrate the gift of music while teaching them how to work as a team and how to

become gentlemen. Our music education includes: music theory, sight-singing, ear training, harmonization, rhythm and much more. The boys’ eyes are opened to the profound effect music can have in their lives and the lives of their audiences around the world.

Dear Land of Lakes Choirboy Supporters,

With the close of our 46th season and after much thought and consideration, the Land of Lakes Choirboys board has decided to make this our final season.

This decision is not made lightly, and we are forever grateful for the wonderful legacy and impact this organization and your contributions have made.

Our commitment to our mission and vision of Music, Respect, Honor and to never have a boy turned away for financial reasons has not waivered. However, over the last five years with our recruitment competition increased, retention more difficult, staffing challenges as well as an enormous and sustained ripple effect of COVID, we have come to the difficult resolve that our ability to continue to meet our mission is no longer possible.

In 46 seasons we have accomplished much, and we have a group of gentlemen that we are very proud of. Your support of the boys and this organization will live on in the legacy of Music, Respect and Honor that they bring with them in their next adventures.

Day 9 - The Summer Solstice lived up to its reputation for being the longest day of the year. Even with bus troubles, the boys remained in good spirits and made a point to all thank the drivers who came to drive us to the hotel after our bus broke down.

On Day 8, we traveled from the country roads of West Virginia through Kentucky to Evansville, Indiana for a concert in a beautiful church. The boys sounded amazing and are looking forward to their Homecoming Concert on Wednesday.
