🌟 Meet Our Amazing Teammate: Eileen Toombs! 🌟

Sometimes, the most meaningful connections begin right in our own neighborhood. 💙

Eileen first learned about Thumbs Up after seeing a story on Channel 5 News. When she recognized the outside of our building because she lived nearby, she stopped in to ask about volunteer opportunities.

That one visit turned into something truly special. Eileen quickly became one of our most dedicated volunteers, and in October 2024, we were thrilled to welcome her to the Thumbs Up team as our part-time Site Lead in Elk River!

Eileen is truly a gem of a human—always smiling, always ready with a hug, and always making the people around her feel welcome. We just adore her and are incredibly grateful for the many ways she contributes to Thumbs Up each and every day. 🫶

The fun begins at 11:45 a.m., following the 5K & 10K run/walk/bike event.
