For over 80 years, the 4-H Building has been the heart of MInnesota 4-H at the Minnesota State Fair. That building hasn’t kept pace with the evolving needs of our youth - who are engaging in new, exciting and complex activities and projects.

We’re embarking on a campaign to renovate the building so it’s ready for today’s youth and future generations - from new learning zones in the building so youth can take their learning back to their communities in new ways to overnight summer camps. National 4-H Week: Throwback Tuesday! 🍀😀💚
Once a 4-H’er, always a 4-H’er. Here’s a Sherburne county 4-H alumni and what she is doing today!

Arabelle R. is an alumni who has come back and taken on the role as llama project leader. During her time in 4-H she participated in scrapbooking, public speaking, dog, llama, horse, sheep and various other general projects. She also was a Sherburne county ambassador and an MN state and MN Agriculture Ambassador. She was a Minnesota delegate to both the National 4-H Congress and Conference. A quote from Arabelle, "I'm so grateful to the 4-H mentors, staff and peers that shaped me into who I am."

Where is Arabelle now? She is in her third year of a biology degree at Grinnell college in Iowa. She spent the summer as a research intern in the UMN Fruit Breeding Lab working on a strawberry germination project while she volunteered with Sherburne county 4-H and competed in AKC shows with her dog. Currently she is spending the semester abroad in Tuscany, Italy studying agriculture!
