THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT presents
WE GOT YOUR 6 @ 6:00- EPISODE #321
This Sunday, WE are talking about what happens when life changes the plan.
The career changes. The kids grow up. Relationships evolve. The uniform comes off. The person staring back in the mirror may not be the same person who started the journey.
So...what comes next?
WE have two great guests joining us to dig into that question from very different perspectives.
FEATURED GUEST: Terrina Russell- May in Midlife
Terrina Russell joins us from May in Midlife, where she tackles the realities of navigating the middle chapters of life-the changes nobody prepared us for, the questions WE sometimes avoid asking, and the opportunity to decide what WE want the next chapter to look like.
Her work creates space for honest conversations about identity, relationships, personal growth, confidence, and rediscovering yourself when the roles that once defined you begin to change.
For veterans and first responders, that conversation can hit especially close to home.
When you've spent years knowing exactly who you are, what you're responsible for, and who is standing beside you, transition can leave a pretty big question:
"Who am I without that role?"
Terrina brings a perspective that says the answer isn't found by trying to become who you used to be.
It's about discovering who you are now.
MUSICAL GUEST: Stevie Lynne
Then WE turn up the volume with this week's musician, Stevie Lynne!
Stevie brings her music and her story to the show as WE get beyond the performance and learn more about the person behind the songs.
WE will talk about what shaped her sound, the experiences behind her music, and why songwriting can say things that ordinary conversation sometimes can't.
Music has a unique ability to connect people who may have completely different backgrounds but recognize the same emotion.
Sometimes a song reaches someone before a conversation ever could.
This Sunday WE are getting into:
Life after major transitions
Identity beyond titles and careers
Starting a new chapter without erasing the old one
Relationships and personal growth
The stories behind the music
Connection through shared experiences
Finding out what comes next
And, as always, WE want you checking on your people.
Calibrate- Know where YOU are.
Highlight Threats-Recognize when something isn't right.
Engage-Reach out.
Commit-Don't just say you're there. BE THERE.
Keep the Rhythm-Do it again tomorrow.
At THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT, WE don't believe every difficult conversation needs another slogan.
Sometimes people simply need a place where they can speak honestly, hear someone else's story, laugh a little, listen to some damn good music, and realize there are people standing beside them.
That's what Sunday nights are about.
