These few days of warm, sunny weather in mid-October feel like the true end of summer here in northern Michigan. We hope you have been able to soak up every bit of sunshine, enjoy the beautiful days, and savor this final farewell to summer before the crisp autumn weather settles in. 🥦If you are missing the farmers market this morning there are a dozen local options to get your fresh produce, flowers and so much more all weekend!!! 💐For flowers start with Northwind Blooms and Golden Hill Farms downtown or head north on US31 to Natalie’s Petals roadside stand. 🍆For produce, right down the road, try Altonens, Myrtle and Mauds, Guntzviller’s, Farmer Whites, Rennie Orchards, Interwater Farms or Fainting Robin. 🍏Head north to King Orchards and Providence Farm for large selections of produce plus lots more like tacos or c***r donuts. Support local farms and enjoy the bounty that we are so blessed to have here in Elk Rapids! 🥰🍁
