Another great tradition was continued during the halftime of Donkey Basketball. The long standing FFA Sweetheart Tradition.

5 wonderful young women competed for this year’s crown and we’d like to give them all of a shout out and commend them their efforts.

Happy Sunday from the Esparto High school FFA boosters! We hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

And hopefully you were able to start your weekend with some fun Friday night. Our very own students competed against the Winters FFA in our annual donkey basketball game.

Coming out with a 42 to 28 victory!!!! 🏆 🎉

This is such an awesome fun yearly tradition for both participants and spectators. If you missed it this year, we hope to see you out there next year.

Hopefully you made it out to Esparto FFA’s breakfast yesterday. If you missed it, put it on your calendar for next year. It’s always the best way to start your Sunday morning and fuel up for Almond Fest shenanigans.

The kids did a great job cooking and serving. And our community did a great job showing up to support them.

Also a big shoutout to the advisors that are behind the scenes making sure that the event runs like a well oiled machine.

Our FFA Officers Riata Chappell and Stephanie Junez did a wonderful job at the Yolo Section FFA Administrators Night. Adminstrators from across the county got to hear about the great things that are happening at Esparto and the other FFA chapters in Yolo County. These ladies even had the opportunity to share and discuss with Shannon Douglass - California Farm Bureau President.

Way to go Riata and Stephanie!
