Cleaning out your kids' closets this summer? 👕👟

Instead of letting outgrown clothing sit unused, consider donating it to xHope. Your donations help provide children and teens with clothing they can wear with confidence through our shopping experiences.

We currently accept:
✔️ New clothing and shoes with tags (toddler–teen)
✔️ Gently used tops and bottoms

Reunification is the process of safely returning a child in foster care to their parents or primary guardians. While every family's journey is unique, reunification is often the desired outcome of foster care when it can be achieved safely and in the best interest of the child.⁠

This month, we recognize the strength, resilience, and commitment of families working toward healing and reconnection, as well as the organizations, communities, and support systems that walk alongside them throughout that journey.⁠

We were honored to host the Young Life - Elk Grove, CA leadership team at xHope on Sunday for an evening of connection, collaboration, and encouragement.

Leaders from across the area gathered at the xHope Hub to share a meal, enjoy pizza and Kona Ice, build relationships, and continue equipping one another to reach the next generation.

Young Life’s mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith, while xHope exists to bring hope and opportunity to youth and families in our community. Together, we share a belief that lives are changed when caring adults show up, invest in relationships, and walk alongside young people. ✨

We are grateful for the opportunity to open our doors and support organizations that are making a lasting impact in the lives of students throughout our region. ❤️

Today we had the joy of celebrating a very special young woman as she prepares to welcome her sweet baby into the world.

I’ve had the privilege of watching McKenna Lane grow into a beautiful woman of God. I’ve known and loved her family for more than three decades, traveled the world with her through missions in Tanzania and Uganda, and had the incredible honor of serving alongside her at xHope as our Local Project Assistant.

McKenna has a servant’s heart, unwavering faith, and a genuine love for people that leaves a lasting impact wherever she goes. She has been such a blessing to our team, our volunteers, and the families we serve.

As she prepares for maternity leave, we surprised her today with a few gifts and, of course, her favorite pho soup. While we are so excited to meet this precious baby and celebrate this new chapter, a big part of us will certainly miss her presence around the Hub.

McKenna, we are unbelievably proud of you. We pray this season is filled with rest, joy, sweet bonding moments, and all the beauty that comes with bringing new life into the world. Your xHope family loves you dearly, and we cannot wait to meet your little one. ❤️👶
