At Chicks in Crisis, we're dedicated to supporting young parents, especially students and those from low-income households, as they face the unique challenges of parenthood. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty and empower young parents to achieve their full potential while ensuring the health and stability of their fam
ilies. Our primary goal is to reduce the number of babies and children entering foster care by providing essential support services, educational opportunities, and advocacy. We work with pregnant and parenting teens, women, and dads of all ages to ensure they stay in school, maintain family size, and pursue secondary education or vocational training. Through our efforts, we assist an average of 650 household members each month, providing over 20,000 essential items such as diapers, wipes, formula, and clothing. However, none of this would be possible without the generous support of our community.
