Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation The Foundation (SASF) promotes and supports sports and life skills development programs for youth and adults in Sacramento County.

We encourage and facilitate the development of good character, leadership, citizenship, and sportsmanship. The Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation (SASF) is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization dedicated to the building of a community/recreational facility in the Elk Grove/Laguna area of south Sacramento, California. The SASF promotes and supports sports and cultural programs for children, youths

and adults in Sacramento County to encourage and facilitate the development of good character, leadership, citizenship and sportsmanship. This is to teach and show children, youths and adults of Asian/Pacific ancestry that there is no greater cause than to serve your community by returning what you have received.

Auditions are open for the SASF Teens Create Dreams (TCD) Talent Show. Submit your video by July 26 for a chance to compete in the finals this fall. $5,000 in prize money will be awarded. Open to youth 18 and under living in Sacramento and Yolo counties. Visit tr.ee/TCD26 for details. TCD is run by all an all-youth board. It teaches leadership skills while promoting the arts.

Phew—we did it… and truly, YOU did it.

Thank you for your generosity and support of SASF, our community, and—most importantly—the next generation.

Because of you, this year’s Big Day of Giving was a tremendous success. Together, we raised over $11,000, and in addition to Chris Wong’s PG&E Community Connect Giving Fund, we were able to raise an additional $10,000.

That’s real impact.

We are two weeks away! Support youth programs like SASF’s Summer League the Big Day Of Giving.

For over 20 years, SASF has been building something bigger than a game.

Our Summer League isn’t just about basketball—it’s about growth, leadership, and community. Every summer, our youngest players (K–6) step onto the court to learn the game, build confidence, and find their place. And the people guiding them? Former players who’ve come back to lead, mentor, and give back.

That’s the cycle.
That’s the impact.
That’s the community.

We’ve watched kids grow into coaches… and coaches grow into parents, now cheering on the next generation from the sidelines.

🏀 Our Basic Hoops Clinic is back this summer—perfect for beginners looking to learn the fundamentals, build confidence, and have fun on the court.

⏰ 6:00–7:30 PM

For just $75, campers will get hands-on instruction in a supportive, high-energy environment (plus a camp t-shirt 👕). Open to grades K–3.

Spots are limited and we expect this to fill up quickly—registration opens May 31, 2026 at 12:01 AM.
