This Friday, we’re honoring Ruby Bridges, a brave 6-year-old who made history by walking to school and paving the way for equality in education. 💜

Our Trunk or Treat isn’t just full of candy. We’ve got dinner covered too! Grab a slice of pizza, a drink, and some treats while you enjoy all the Halloween fun. 👻

Every purchase helps support the Butler PTO, so we can keep bringing fun events and memories to our kids all year long. 💙

🐾 Bulldogs on the Move! 🐾
On October 3rd, 2025, our Bulldogs hit the sidewalks for Walk & Roll Day and guess what? 📰 We made the NEWS! 🎉
From sneakers to scooters, our students showed the community what safety, responsibility, and Bulldog Pride look like in motion. 💪💙❤️

The 1st Multicultural Festival was a huge success! 🎉 A big thank you to Mrs. Nand and everyone who helped bring this amazing event to life. It was wonderful to see so many families come out to celebrate and experience the incredible performances, craft activities, food trucks, and more! We love seeing our community come together—can’t wait for the next one!

We are so proud of our Running Club!!!

These incredible kiddos ran a 5k this morning with and we couldn't be more proud of them!!!

A big thank you to Mrs. Reese and all of the other volunteers who worked with these kids weekly to prepare them for this race!

🌟 Introducing Mrs. Membrere - Our New RSP Teacher in the Learning Center!🌟

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Membrere to Butler Elementary as our new RSP (Resource Specialist Program) teacher! With 11 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Membrere is passionate about helping students recognize their potential, celebrating even the smallest steps of progress.

A proud alum of Elk Grove Unified School District, she is thrilled to return to the community. When she’s not in the classroom, you can find her indulging in a variety of desserts, savoring Vietnamese coffee, or enjoying sushi.

Mrs. Membrere looks forward to connecting with our amazing students and families this year. Welcome aboard! 🎉📚

🌟 Introducing Mrs. Archuleta - Our New 6th grade A track Teacher! 🌟

We are delighted to welcome Mrs. Renee Archuleta to the Arthur C. Butler Elementary School family! A proud Sacramentan, Mrs. Archuleta holds an impressive academic background, including three AA degrees, a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. She is currently in the process of obtaining her teaching credential.

In addition to her educational achievements, Mrs. Archuleta is also celebrating a special milestone in her personal life—she is married to Mr. Vasquez and they are excitedly preparing to welcome their first baby!

We are thrilled to have Mrs. Archuleta join our team and look forward to her contributions to our students and community for years to come! 🎉📚
