President- Elect and Treasurer, Herb English, speaking at the Citrus College Men of Color Conference!!!!

The Citrus College Men of Color Committee is hosting a 2022 Men of Color Conference on Friday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Campus Center. Scholarship opportunities are available to those who attend!

The theme of the conference – Engage, Empower, Elevate – underscores the mission of the Men of Color Mentor program. The event features a welcome from Superintendent/President Dr. Greg Schulz, a keynote speech from Board of Trustees Clerk/Secretary Dr. Anthony Contreras, breakout sessions featuring Just Us 4 Youth and African American Male Education Network and Development (A2MEND), and so much more!

We know programs and events like the A2MEND Annual African American Male Summit are vitally important to supporting the completion rate and enrollment of Black students at California’s community colleges.
